About Rita

Rita and her husband Mitch have owned Barbers & the Salon, also known as Alp’s Barber & Style, since 1997. After owning the business for many years, they successfully expanded their business to Epps Bridge Pkwy.

Rita has 31 years of experience as a stylist.  She has been trained in all women’s styles, perms, and color although her primary focus is on women’s styles and color. Over the years, she has traveled to numerous hair shows and color classes. Her current work schedule is by appointment on Monday at our Alps Village location.

Rita is originally from Indiana and has also lived in both North Carolina and Georgia. She and Mitch have five children spread across Georgia and are heavily involved in a local Catholic church.

When she is not working, Rita enjoys shopping, traveling, and hosting family events at their house. She and Mitch regularly embark on cruises and have many stories to share about their adventures around the world.
